In Hakuba's spectacular nature we hope
that everyone can enjoy the outdoors. The afterglow of the
rising sun and of the evening twilight that color the Hakuba
Mountain Range make the camping experience with friends and
family all that more special.
| There are more campsites
being made in the area to satisfy increasing demand. Tents and sleeping bags are available
from the rental shop so there is no need to worry about preparations
enabling you to just relax and enjoy time camping. There are also many
hotels, pensions and inns in the area and a 'camp and hotel' type of
stay is also possible.

| Hakuba Goryu Auto
Camp Site Reservations are accepted. Check in
is at 12 noon, with checkout at 10 am. Camping rental equipment can be arranged
from Goryu Drive Station (route 148).
The nearby Hakuba Goryu Esukaru Plaza has some public baths.

Park Camp Site This camp
site is a two-minute walk to the "Take-no-Yu
Spa". In the park you will find a variety of sports activities plus
a fishing pond. |

Sport Park Auto Camp Site You can hear the gently flowing
Hirakawa stream from this camp site. There is a large parking lot for 2,000 cars
and you can pitch your tent beside your car.

Alps Auto Camp Site This
camp site has a small soccer field, tennis
courts and until mid-September you can also enjoy river fishing. |

| Hakuba Iwatake Camp
and Auto Camp Site The registration desk
at this camp site is located at "Iwatake-no-Yu"
Onsen. There is no electricity or gas on site. 8 man tents are
available. There is also a basketball court and a small soccer field.
Shionomichi onsen "Iwatake-no-Yu" and Iwatake artificial turf skiing
ground are located nearby.
